    ... having our soup and sandwich that we noticed we were parked right next to a compound full of porta-potties. No wonder the parking lot was empty. Right at the end of Gila Bend was the junction of Hwy 8, which would take us right to Yuma. Hwy 8 is a four lane divided freeway so the rest of the trip was uneventful.

    Cocopah RV and Golf Resort is just beyond the western city limits of Yuma on the Cocopah Indian Reserve. The resort is very pretty with a full size golf course ...

    our jeeping friends. This is the largest gathering in the 20 years this club

    – 18 jeeps on a run. Rusty has been modifying the jeep so we could start going
