    ... town's name is pronounced like the color green. This is a real tourist town with lots of the old original buildings now restored and open to the public. We walked through the many stores of antiques, outfitters, pottery, jewelry and a general store that sold items from years gone by.     Ok so we did learn about the Siphon they dug underneath the Colorado River... so that the river and the Canal don’t interfere… which is kind of funky, when you see the hole in the ground, where the river comes back up the large pipe and flows again in the Canal…
