... really cool because we got in this little pod of an elevator that felt like it was from some science fiction movie. After that we headed to Fitz's for lunch. The best part was the "bottomless" mug of their very own root beer. We left energized for our drive all the way to Tulsa Oklahoma, which is where we are staying the night. So far, the trip's been great.

After that, we went buckled up for the 5 1/2 hour trip to Tulsa, that included a couple stops for gas and to scrape the ice that had built up on the window wipers from freezing rain that poured over us for more than half the journey. Got to Broken Arrow, OK after a windy 584 miles drive. Loved the sweeping wide turns on the roads in southern Missouri. Not much to see scenery-wise, so I spent a lot of time listening to fantastic music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's on some CDs that were stuck under my passenger seat.
