I made my reservations last summer for 2013 Bike Week. My room was ready and clean when I arrived on 3-10-13.

The room had two queen beds, mini refrigerator, microwave, safe (cost extra to use), coffee maker, and hair dryer. The ice maker was in the lobby.

For the people who know me the hair dryer was not needed (lol). The only amenity I put to use was the refrigerator and it kept the drinks very cold.

The air conditioning and heat both worked fine as well as the shower.

I stayed here in October 2010 for Biketoberfest and I was pleased with my stay then as well.

I would recommend Microtel Inn and Suites at Palm Coast.

Since I started school in July of last year, and Zach has been working 40+ hours a week outside, we felt a vacation was needed! Since I go to a trimester program college, I don't get very much time offfrom school, but my spring break was coming up, and we really wanted to get out of town for the weekend, so we planned a spontenous beach trip a few days before it was time to ...

... party, we parted ways and continued south, driving to exit 305 in Florida where we fueled up and parked overnight at a truck stop. Since we were just stopped overnight, we decided not to extend the slide outs, which meant that we were not going to sleep in the bigger bed. Piper took the loft, Darin took the bottom bunk and I took the couch. Penny is on a dinette bench. Sleep ...

... their guest room just down the road many many times over the years and it was really nice they could visit us. Annette got to brush up on her Bridge skills with a very understanding partner ( not me ). We enjoyed beach walks, mini putt, the Tiny Martini, St. George St., nice dinners out and in, and a couple of Fort tours. Fort is short for fortification, and Fortress is a female fortification by the way. Great cannons ...

... Steak was on the menu, as well as fresh asparagus and our last sweet potato. A bit of cole slaw topped it off.

We heard lots of birds and were told that this is a good birding area, so we'll check that out.

It got down into the forties last night, which was a major change. The sun is rising in the live oaks and palms as I type. We'll be hiking soon. It would be nice if you were with ...
