I was getting my hair done at Shear Perfection / Hair Port, when Rosemary strolled in to get her hair done. As we finished up, in walked Marti, ready to do her great work there, and it turned out her first customer was Gayle! What a small world, and what a great level of excitement! Thought we'd document this with a picture.

I did make it back to Pewaukee, WI after about 6 hours of fun and frolic and my lady Gail was waiting with open arms for me. We got Charlie unloaded and put to bed and zipped off to Gail's beautiful home and a very nice supper and some great conversation. Twas a long day for me and we retired for the day for some much need sleep.

It wasn’t long after that it was taken that even more was added. I’m not sure how we didn’t blow a fuse, which I'm pretty sure we didn't have with us. We had just about anything else we could need, knowing Corey and the level of preparedness she has - but I'm pretty sure there would have had to be a stop at an automotive shop of some sort if we'd lost that fuse. Along with some cussing.
Headed for first campsite Nerstrand Big Woods-- last of huge woods (Grand Bois) that used to cover Eastern Minnesota. This is just (about 10-20 miles) East of where glacier stopped, so rugged terrain formed by runoff water. Very very hot -- into 90's, maybe 94 -- and near 100% humidity. Pitched tent and dripping with sweat -- so went for 1 mile walk to 'hidden waterfall' which was very mosquito-filled walk. Back to campsite and lots of ...
