... we stopped for cheese, and we stopped in Sparta Wi home of the bicycle AND the fiberglass graveyard. It was an interesting adventure to say the least. Lots of fun though and plenty of giggles. ... the road after it happens. There was everything from deer to raccoons to possums. Charming I know. Our lunch stop was at a small visitor centre that had a grassed area but that's about it. ... also lots of bites -- vicious ones that swelled up and were liquid filled next day. Had 5 bratwurst to grill, which was done using bricquets and outer part of alcohol stove to hold Tom's box grill. Made 4 brats on that, cooked fifth on skewer while eating the 4. Also fried the curried cabbage, which had also thawed. All a success, and plenty of heat left in fire so roasted the 'B Loin' which had dripped blood all over inside of cooler. ...

The other piece of group symbolism and "belonging" was the patches. Thanks, Lisa! While it was "cool" to have the memorabilia, the coveted group and ride patches and pins were important for group dynamics.
