I was getting my hair done at Shear Perfection / Hair Port, when Rosemary strolled in to get her hair done. As we finished up, in walked Marti, ready to do her great work there, and it turned out her first customer was Gayle! What a small world, and what a great level of excitement! Thought we'd document this with a picture.

... br> I drove over to my old camping spot in Waterville after the family gathering on a chance that Scott's Campground might have an empty spot for me. As luck would have it they did, and I set up ol Charlie on the very first spot I ever had in this park eight years ago. GaZooks, the little tree that was on the spot grew up and blocked my TV reception, so I had to move. (A man has to watch his TV and play with his clicker don't cha know)...Anyhow, they ...

... ve appreciated. This photo was taken before we were even out of the state.

It wasn’t long after that it was taken that even more was added. I’m not sure how we didn’t blow a fuse, which I'm pretty sure we didn't have with us. We had just about anything else we could need, knowing Corey and the level of preparedness she has - but I'm pretty sure there would have had to be a stop at an automotive shop of some sort if we'd lost that fuse. Along with some cussing.

Headed for first campsite Nerstrand Big Woods-- last of huge woods (Grand Bois) that used to cover Eastern Minnesota. This is just (about 10-20 miles) East of where glacier stopped, so rugged terrain formed by runoff water. Very very hot -- into 90's, maybe 94 -- and near 100% humidity. Pitched tent and dripping with sweat -- so went for 1 mile walk to 'hidden waterfall' which was very mosquito-filled walk. Back to campsite and lots of ...
