We started the day saying good bye to our good friends the Valentines in Culver Indiana and here we are ready to get some sleep in Albert Lea Minnesota. It has been a long day. Culver Indiana was really rural and after the storm last night it was difficult getting to civilization. Lots of limbs and trees down. But we found our way all the way to ...

Pitched tent and dripping with sweat -- so went for 1 mile walk to 'hidden waterfall' which was very mosquito-filled walk. Back to campsite and lots of ...

In 1997, R.W. “Buzz” Kaplan proposed that the plane become part of a signature display outside Heritage Halls Museum, which was mile north of the airport. Buzz thought the display should ...

... Like everything else, it didn't matter what we were riding...just that we were riding as one!

The other piece of group symbolism and "belonging" was the patches. Thanks, Lisa! While it was "cool" to have the memorabilia, the coveted group and ride patches and pins were important for group dynamics. It gave us identity as a group...a single unit...rather than individual riders out on a lark. They began the process of helping us all to understand that this was a group thing. That ...
