Saying Goodbye to Tennessee

I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

I was staying at the Omni and she came down on a Sunday just to keep me company and took me on a CNN tour. Not here though, everyone drives. When I got off the bus this ...

... Chicka took us to the CNN headquarters to join one of their VIP tours. Wow! It was so overwhelming to look behind the scenes of one of the world's renown and most spread out news channels in the world. Did you know that CNN actually stands for Cable News Network and was one of the first pure news channels in the world (*1980)? Well, I did not. CNN belongs to Ted Turner Broadcasting (named after its founder), which has been owned by Time Warner ...

... amp; experienced in travel. By the end of the trip, I felt like I knew these people very well. Over the course of our journey, we shared laughter, tears, experiences and prayers.

I feel fortunate to have shared this trip with brothers and sisters in Christ on such an arduous and exciting journey! Notwithstanding the heated revolt throughout Turkey, which began near our hotel in ...
