    So the car winds through small towns, past fruit stands selling oranges, lemons , grapefruit along flat plains where we see rows and rows of almond trees growing as far as you can see. The top is down, hats on and heater going , we seem to be the only ones wishing cool air on our faces ! The foothills approach and we wind our way into the mts.     ... miss from home. Granted it is the weekend, and we are on Hwy 1.

    Very speedy cook and eat of dinner - marinated chicken, rice, peas and carrots, yummy. Laundry jobs, playground, and showers for the boys. iPad is in time out so Emma recounts Billy's Bucket for Dylan. A nice day, but so far we haven't been wowed as we expected to be by the West Coast.     ... t get to play in the sand.

    The flight home was a bit more relaxed. M fell asleep almost instantly and woke up just in time to play with an Elmo App for 30 minutes before we landed. I wish they were all this easy!

    Below are a few pictures from our trip. I am home for 5 days and am hosting Thanksgiving and then leaving for London, it will be a busy week.
    My next blog about London will be more entertaining and informative!

    ... We had hoped to meet with Jil's sister Kim but that plan didn't work out. Our furry kids are doing well. Molly is her calm mild mannered self. Maverick is hanging in there. Being an Aussie he likes all of his ducks lined up but a change of scenery is throwing him off his game. This trip will be good for him and teach him all is well no matter where we are in this great country.

    ... via Los Angeles, California. It is about 1500 miles trip, one way. My taxi came around 4:00 PM to pick me up from home and I was at the San Jose International Airport by 4:30PM. My flight departed on schedule at 5:22PM. It was a United flight to Denver.
