Our first (quick) stop was back to the harbor at Morro Bay to take a picture of Morro Rock with the sun on it. We had hoped to see some sea lions, but apparently they were still abed. Our drive started out with more of the beautiful, velvety, rolling, ...

... We had hoped to meet with Jil's sister Kim but that plan didn't work out. Our furry kids are doing well. Molly is her calm mild mannered self. Maverick is hanging in there. Being an Aussie he likes all of his ducks lined up but a change of scenery is throwing him off his game. This trip will be good for him and teach him all is well no matter where we are in this great country.

This area is a good launch ...
