      ... It had apparently taken him two and a half years to gradually make his little path through the woodland on his property. Our guide stopped to tell us about various wildlife, he gave us some salmon berries to sample and said the bears love them (this was soo close to our campsite!!!) and some anise plant to chew on that tasted like aniseed :) we kept our eyes peeled for Bigfoot and bears but saw none :( our guide showed us the river where the bears catch ...

      ... We had hoped to meet with Jil's sister Kim but that plan didn't work out. Our furry kids are doing well. Molly is her calm mild mannered self. Maverick is hanging in there. Being an Aussie he likes all of his ducks lined up but a change of scenery is throwing him off his game. This trip will be good for him and teach him all is well no matter where we are in this great country.
