    ... amazed by the competence, or lack of, of the general population. Today was no exception. A few near misses and a bump (none involving us thank goodness) and a huge number of semis, as usual. We quickly bought some American sweets and cherry coke, ran to the smokers' lounge (it weirdly smelt just like an old English pub back in the smoking days...) and made it to boarding just in time (we had a short connection)...
