In the spirit of entering into local culture this Sunday morning, we decided on a full gospel service at the very large, nearby Mt Zion Baptist Church. We pulled into a huge car park which was already full, with loads of parking attendants on hand, and quickly realised that we were the only white people amongst the thousands streaming in for worship – and apart from one or two others, that was also true once inside the huge auditorium. Scenery was lovely anyway and we stayed off the interstate though as the sun was going down, I was getting concerned we would be wondering around like lost souls up in the woods and the possibility of deer jumping out at night in front of us. Eventually though, hallelujah, we found Chattanooga! What amused us is we NEVER have this problem. Both Jude and I are pretty good map readers and we both have a pretty good sense ...

    • Went straight to the final Mission - Moon Landing. Great pilot Amanda from Gerogia - was always 3 steps ahead - very clever lady! We launched beautifully and flew into Earth's orbit. Heading to moon and had a major glitch with the simulator software - as it was supposed to give us 'anomalies' or problems to solve. The software kept aying "illegal entry" to every switch we threw, so we could not follow the flight plan, but skip forward 7 days to the moon and then lift ...
