It had not been a very good night. Neither of us could get any sleep. A big trailer had parked right next to us in the Wal-Mart and it spent the whole night idling. At around 2am, Chris got up and actually moved our Westy farther from it but the damage was done and our night was shot. Monday, June 23 2014 Ate breakfast at the local joint, across from the Doyle Hotel. They have great french toast, and the bacon is thick....not the cheap/thin bacon most places serve. Good food, for the start of a great hiking day! As we left town, a ladies gigantic dog jumped on me and gave me a hug. He just wrapped his big arms around my neck and then jumped down.....weird but at least the the dogs are friendly here! Kind of a long day hiking.....single track hiking, but ...
