      Seven years ago when we were here, we had put a Walmart location into our GPS to do some shopping. This was at a place called "Pass Christian", when we got to the point that Walmart was supposed to be located all we found was a cement slab Katrina had wiped out the building and most of the coastline including the boardwalk that followed the beach. Houses near the water had been devastated.

      So much re-building work has happened ...

      We left NYC heading to Pensacola, Florida to stay with one of Rachael's friends from camp, Amy Workman, who she hadn't seen since 2002.       ... been on the road we've only encountered 1 barking dog. Since the natural instinct of dogs is to bark, I've been puzzled as to why they are so quiet in the parks. So, I've inquired of several pet owners - the conclusion is that it is all in the training of the owners. The regulation has trained the owners to train their pets. Makes me think of parenting. Better parent training produces better behaved children ? Maybe !
