This was leaving day. I left Spanish Fort for my Grandmother's early in the morning. I hung around the house for a couple of hours then ate lunch with my Mom at a local seafood restraunt. If I remember the name I'll come back and add that. After lunch it was the long drive back home. And ...
... the little animals. Many of them you can feed for just 2 dollars a feed cup. Most of the animals would walk right up to you and eat our of your hand (no not the carnivores!) The birds, deer, goats, donkey's and those such animals were very friendly. Most of the big cats were hiding from us but the bear and the wolf both made an appearance.

... been on the road we've only encountered 1 barking dog. Since the natural instinct of dogs is to bark, I've been puzzled as to why they are so quiet in the parks. So, I've inquired of several pet owners - the conclusion is that it is all in the training of the owners. The regulation has trained the owners to train their pets. Makes me think of parenting. Better parent training produces better behaved children ? Maybe !
