Today is the last day of a week in Foley, AL while at the Florida Travelcade Club rally. It has been a fun week with good friends and lots of food and drinks. We went to the Foley Shrimp Festival, the road kill cafe, Jimmy Buffett's sister's restaurant called Lulu's and a number of other places that I can not remember the names of, ...

... and went for a walk on the beach. Crowded campsites are not fun at all. The sand is like raw cane sugar. Very glassy and white, almost like snow. It squeaks under your feet, so of course I was playing in that for a while, squeaking along the beach :-) I did not go for a swim though - the water was cold! ... found, called Chicago Style Pizza.. Mark and E are from northern Illinois. From the outsider's point of view, they are from Greater Chicago. To them, they are NOT Chicagoans. But they know how a good Chicago Style pizza REALLY tastes. So, everyone agreed that we needed to try out this authentic Chicago style pizza place and have Mark and E rate it. We all had lunch there and Mark and E declared it an "authentic Chcago ...

    ... us. Imagine that!

Friday night the Park scheduled a show called "A Tribute to Elvis." Being an Elvis fan, I know I am going. John is not so enthusiastic. Neither are the other guys. But, the women (or gals as we are called) are game. We leave the guys drinking their beer and walk across the street to the activity house and what we hope is an enjoyable evening with Elvis. He was SO BAD! The best thing about the show was the white ...
