Another day of good weather, 691 kms covered and two more states, Illinois and Iowa, are behind us.

We went on out way through Missouri and on up into Iowa. The countryside was lovely, with rolling hills and endless fields.
I had only got about four hours of sleep between nerves from getting ready and beginning this trip plus a little nervous to be in an isolated spot and kind of uncomfortable.
