7/2 Day 11 We resumed sightseeing today after a CVS stop for script renewals. This was a real pleasure due to their national computer system. On our 2010 trip scripts were a real pain as we were doing mailed scripts and had to get everything mailed to a general delivery in a future town. Then had to go back and get everything mailed back home after the trip.

We first went to the Lewis and Clark memorial in Council Bluff. It looked like a beautiful ...

6/30 Day 9 We traveled from Adele IA to Council Bluffs IA, a short hop of 175 miles. This was good because it gave us the opportunity to see the John Wayne Museum in Winterest a nearby town to Adele. The museum had only opened in late May so we were fortunate to be able to see it. It had a 12 minute movie with excerpts of his various roles and a nice introduction by his daughter. She had attended the opening of the Museum as well. The museum had a lot of clothes from various movies ...

... for the ones who figured they could pass everybody and further down the road you saw the same vehicle in the ditch or stuck. We ended up not getting to Oklahoma City until after 1. It must have been a localized storm in that it didn't extend much further east or west but seemed to be about 150 miles south to north. Outside Oklahoma City it was sunny and clear. Really weird storm front. But once through Oklahoma City the roads ...
