With that as preamble, the reason that bedtime was so interesting was due to my staying in Brayden's bed, which was decorated by sheets, bed spread, and pillows covered in Broncos logos. Despite this, I was able to get a good night's sleep.
Holiday cheer and campaign excitement were in abundance at a beautiful event supporting Sid's campaign sponsored by Steve and Lynette Nabity, his neighbors in Elkhorn.
It was standing room only in the Nabity home as neighbors rallied to support one of their own in his bid for the U.S. Senate. The Nabitys were joined by 10 other couples in co-hosting the event.
I thought Iowa was flat, it's nothing like they show on tv. In fact, it's completely opposite of it. Iowa is very hilly, and very green. The rolling hills have various shades of green and are dotted with houses and trees in the distance. Everything is pulled together underneath a vibrant azure blue sky. No clouds, just pure blue.
