After bumming around on 3C for a couple days saying my goodbyes, it was finally time to head west. It was an early morning today (Wednesday Feb 4th) and Max, Ryan, and I departed TU around 7:30. All the splorin made us hungry, and thanks to a tip from a friend of Max, we went to Fitz's Root Beer Company for a 2:00 lunch. After that, we went buckled up for the 5 1/2 hour trip to Tulsa, that included a couple stops for gas and to scrape the ice that had built up on the window wipers from freezing rain that poured over us for more than half the journey. All in all, good first day:) ...

It was so good to finally meet Cindy's family (after almost 30 years!). Nice clan. I might have to visit them again...

Got back to the house and Cindy dragged out some old photo albums to jog my fading memory of places we went to when we were in high school. God, we looked SO YOUNG! Where has the time gone? Up until after midnight reminiscing. What fun we had...and what secrets we kept!
Cindy took Friday off from work so we could catch-up.
