... amp; tomatoes on fettuccine. After supper, we went to Ingles (supermarket) to buy a bottle of wine. When we returned to the B&B, Mark lit the fire pit outside & we spent a lovely evening visiting with Marty & Bruce. Marty works in I.T. Got up about 7:00, got ready, had breakfast & checked out. Drove south & east through Chattanooga then up Tellico Plains to drive the Cherohala skyway. Winding scenic highway across the Nantahala National Forest. Very beautiful ... A paradise ride for motorcycles ( & there were plenty of them!) there was one section that went north off of it called the Tail of the Dragon. ...

... say it is just right. There is a diverse amount of plants and animals. 95% of the mountains are covered by 5 different types of forest. Along with babbling brooks and waterfalls it all comes together as one beautiful park. My luck ran out a little here since fog and low clouds denied me some views but I will return to see the leaves change ...

... the bags! Of course I mocked her. But I have to admit, when the dogs started barking later on in the night, I had to wonder... So today is our first view of the cabin in the day.
