We stopped for a while outside the McDonogh 15 Public School where part of Elvis Presley's King Creole film was filmed. We then took at a look at the oldest building in the Missisippi Valley Ursuline Convent, built in 1745. We then went into the market and had a look at Cafe du Monde where the French Biegnets are made. It was then into Jackson square where we were told a little of the history of the ...

We have decided to stay an extra day…Our bodies hate us but it is a must. We started off the morning at Willie Mae's scotch house…It’s voted the best fried chicken in North America so Mike was not leaving without trying it. When we got there the sun was beating down and there was a large line up of locals, so we decided it must be worth the wait…and two hours later we were eating fried chicken, beans, and mac & cheese.
