As we close out our time in Ann Arbor we are continuing to reflect on our teaching practices. This week has inspired us ALL to want to go back into the classroom. Sorry Stacey. We get hungry and head downtown for lunch. We scoff down a delicious lunch of noodles, ramen and kare age chicken with rice. We watch the cross fit championship on tv as we pay the bill (thanks Arun and Beejal), and wonder how the girls are running with the weights on their backs.

That trip in 2007, I had the misfortune of having everything stolen, but I adored the Lowe Alpine backpack so much that I ordered an identical one as soon as I returned. And well, how hard is it to find a rain jacket in my favorite color?

... I couldn't resist taking time to drive through my old neighborhood in Ann Arbor Hills, past my schools and around the campus. There's no where else in the world for me to be as nostalgic as I am when I return to Ann Arbor. ... too. So, OF COURSE I call Elaine and we get together briefly . It had only been 30+ years since I saw her last. Elaine Lawson Commisky graduated with two very dear friends, Maggie Ryan and Amy Ryan all of whom were in our "Big Sister" class at Holy Child (at who's graduation I sang "Day by Day.")
