... about 30 or so, not counting kiddos.

This will be our last evening at Colorado Landing. The weather has been wonderful…80’s daytime dropping to the 60’s at night. Wendell is about to grill some burgers for our dinner and I think I’ll join him outside for a while. We had to move the picnic table behind the RV and prop it up on leveling blocks so he would have a place to set the grill. Improvise. Be creative. ...

... had rather nice weather. So it was very pleasant hiking through the fields where wildflowers were in full bloom and a large number of butterflies were fluttering about. We also saw a number of honey bees collecting nectar from the flowers. We also saw some species of Physalis, which produces the most interesting "lanterns" to protect their fruit as it develops. We set up our tent and took a quick shower and then went to bed after a very long day. Overnight, there was a heavy rain, but unfortunately, not enough to really help the ...

This blog is an update on our progress in establishing a new life on the opposite side of the country. After a wonderful trip, seeing many sights while crossing the country in our RV we made it to Seneca SC on August 4th. We set up our temporary RV home site in the Keowee Falls RV Park. Except for the Rebel Flags and critter hunting (pellet ...

After months of researching, planning, making reservations and in the past week, packing and weighing, we're finally beginning our Europe 2015 adventure. Our first flight today originated in Greenville at 12:50 (on time) and will take us to Charlotte. Its 2:00 p.m. and we're in Charlotte, waiting for our flight to, of all places, Philadelphia. When we made our flight reservations late last year, ...
