... around the lot, pulling every last vehicle out of the mud like it was nothing. We moved to a parking lot in a local municipal park (where the circus showed last year) and stayed the night there. Everyone had a lot of cleaning to do and thankfully there were multiple water hook-ups and even a flooded ditch next to the parking lot that we could wash everything in.

... as long as you were standing, you could see turns 2, & 16 to 19 pretty well from there too. ( we did have camp chairs with us while we waited for action ) The race itself was fairly uneventful, another Sebastian Vettel whitewash, but still a great spectacle, the noise is pretty awesome & saw some pretty good overtaking moves. ... we had to move on to meet more lovely people! So after wishing everyone our goodbyes we made for our exit from Dallas on route to Austin.

The drive down to Austin was less adventurous than the previous nights drive home. (Thank Goodness!) So we bopped away to the local hits on the radio, and let our sometimes 'stupid' GPS guide us along the interstate to our next home.

Upon arriving into the RV park at Austin, we were greeted with heavy dusty hot air! ...

This was by far my favorite day.

We hadn't gotten much sleep since my arrival, so sleeping in on Saturday morning felt AMAZING. It was very much needed!

Eventually we woke up and prepared ourselves for the day. Emily made us a great breakfast so we'd have lots of energy for our trip to Lake Travis. Once we were dressed and ready to go we made the drive out to the lake to go zip lining!

... gingerbread village in the lobby with the model train that runs through it. And there are only so many kids that can cycle through a hotel. In a mall, well, it seems like every kid in the world shows up at once.

And at the Teas, there aren't any babies. All the kids are old enough to handle themselves. The babies arrive for the open houses, so there's some crying that goes on, but a few camera flashes later and they move on with their parents. No big ...
