    Going home

Stayed over in Charlotte last night. It was our first experience with AirBNB and it went well. Jonathan and his partner were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. On the other hand our flight experience was not nearly as good. USAir/American Airlines really screwed the pooch. They were asking for volunteers to give up seats and we decided ...

I'm sitting in the Charlotte airport on my 8 hour layover, drinking a cold beer and reflecting on the last 10 years. This trip is far and beyond anything I've ever done before, and it is really exciting. Especially since I still don't have half of it planned yet!

I'm going to keep my eyes, mind, and heart open and have a great time!

When that game was done we went to a different set of fields where Michelle and Emma were to see Emma play and then Cody had a game there too. Such fun to get to see all three of the kids play soccer. On our way back to campground we stopped at the ABC store ...

... the street from the church. The folks we're working with at habitat tomorrow provided dinner for us. It was absolutely delicious. Mexican food; we haven't had that in a while. Well, we had it last night but before that... never. Well not never, but we hadn't had it the entire trip so far. After dinner a friend of Taylor's and mine from Elon showed up at the park to visit, Meghan Grace Stevens. It was so great ...
