    Day 10

A travel blog entry by pedallingtheusa on Jul 29, 2014

Back on the road today! We were set to do 60 miles which is now starting to feel like a normal day. My legs aren't half a sore as I thought and my bum has definitely broken into the saddle some more! The road was generally flat as it snaked beside Lake Erie, with some really nice views along the way. We stopped off around 20 miles in for some really good food at a place called Boomerang before setting off again to do the last 40 miles in one. ...

... had rocks (at the port side and where the tall ships are) while the end and other side have huge sandy beaches. There are monuments dating back to the Battle of Lake Erie from 1813, and light houses dot the shore. Love, Love, LOVED this place. ...

Despite a few protesters with posters full of blatant lies, we had two lovely shows with many ...

A travel blog entry by clara.sayre on Jul 16, 2014

My memories of being here last year involve us being driven around by a new-to-the-force policeman in his brand new patrol car. We figured it wouldn't be a good photo-op for a circus clown to emerge from the backseat of the patrol car, so I was the lucky one who got to sit back there. We entertained at the local senior center and visited some stores before heading onto the next town.

I remembered the park where our show is being held as soon as we pulled in. We had ...

... We were a bit nervous about attendance because we don’t have a sponsor and today is the first day of their annual Cherry Festival but we had nothing to worry about. Families were telling me after both shows how excited and happy they were that we had come to their town and that they hoped we’d be back next year.

Eggroll, the ringmaster from Big Apple Circus, came to our show today...we've never had ...
