... area where I thought the donkey's were the cutest and lost the others in my travelling part as I was so engrossed with the donkeys, they were off getting ice cream!. After a day of car part excitement for the boys and animal heaven for the girls we headed back to the shopping centre near the hotel for dinner and a mad-dash through Walmart for the a few bits and pieces.
... reached the visitor centre, through green and very pretty countryside and a bunch of small towns. We took the distillery tour and the first stop was one of the barrel houses containing some 6000 barrels of whiskey slowly aging. We were allowed to poke our heads in the door for a sniff, and oh my gosh it was incredible.
We walked around the plant and learnt a heap of history and how JD is crafted. ...

We had a mostly good night's sleep, and got up early again. We had to eat breakfast, pack up and check out, and hit the road in time for Heidi to make her 1:15 pm Chemistry class in Mooresville.
We arrived in Mooresville in time to unload the car and take Heidi to class. We took her because at least one of our cars is not running ...
Its time for another great adventure and I am all packed and ready to go. I was so glad that I kept a blog of my last trip and had great feedback from those who read it, that I decided to make another one for this trip. My friend (Marie) and I are headed to 3 great countries: France, Italy, and Spain and are excited for it all to start! Flights leave tonight.....tomorrow = ...
... were parking spaces designated for them in the parking garage. If you have a to-go order you could pull in to pick up your food and not have to pay the parking fee.
We made our way to the main entrance and paid for our tickets. Mine, at $17.95 was two dollars less than Cheryl’s. One of the only good things about getting old. But man, did they have to print the words 'SENIOR CITIZEN’ in such big letters on the ticket?!?
