Today this year's ride ended - at Beach, North Dakota. It was a great day, and a wonderful finish to this stage of our "scenic trip to visit our children across the US on bicycles."

Not much of a day. Long days ride to North Dakota on I-90 and Route 85. Route 85 was a long desolate road and it was almost scary to think if you ever got stuck out here, no one would come by to help. There wasn't much to see along the way either.

The scenery the last day and a half was generally farmland – pretty for a while from a car, but after a few miles on a bike, it gets a little boring. But we think we probably have lots of this kind of scenery ahead on our next summer ride when we cross North Dakota! Still, it wasn’t bad, and by 11:15 we passed Whoopup Creek Rd and we were riding into Glendive.
