... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs. ... playoff game. Dallas were 1 point down with 1.7 seconds to go.Timeout called, then holed the basket, Dallas win by 1, cheers and yellng all around!!!
Then back to the rodeo. Bareback horses, roping, tieing and best of all, 3 and 4 year olds bareback sheep riding. Crash helmets yes, but health and safety?? And not a high viz vest in sight. Girl dress at the rodeo is hot pants and texas boots. Sorry no pics on that.
