... the background and people in medieval costume running around. Turns out a Japanese tv show was filming that day. If only I brought my medieval garb I could have been in extra in some Japanese tv show. The day was pretty much sent walking around the small city and taking in the views. On such a nice day it was a much needed break. ...

... today or no longer in business. We then proceeded on to the tiny sovereign state of San Marino. The "republic" is only 20 square miles in size. We drove directly to the top of the mountain on which the old city (citta) rests. The Citta has a spectacular view in all directions. So I will write ‘during the day today we did something all day but that something isn’t worth ...

... We have all decided that our next holiday will definitely not be a driving holiday, maybe a resort holiday in Thailand or something. We arrived in Riccione at around 4.00pm and our apartment was big, clean and lovely, just what we needed for our rest stop. Lyndon and I headed out to find the supermarket that we had driven past earlier but as usual this was way harder than it should have been. Petty led us to a couple but they were ...

A few snippets of our 1.5 days in Milan. What a wonderful city! We only came here as a fly-out point but it has been a great experience.

I love the cathedral here, beats Florence hands down. I think it is its wedding cake outside appearance, and the fact we did a good tour that included inside, the archeological site and exhibition underground (very well done) and the upper "terraces" ...
