    Bob's Recap

A travel blog entry by megbobtravels on Jul 09, 2015

Just a few of my (Bob's) notes about some themes and overall thoughts about this trip.

    The Locals

The person who showed us our Airbnb in Venice, Orial, asked me about what I thought about the people in my first visit to Italy, and to Europe. I tried to explain it to him, but I had a hard time doing it then, and I'm kind of having a hard time writing it too. Follow us along. Hopefully we'll get to update this blog regularly.

    Bye for now!

We were stopped by US Customs and asked to clear customs in Point Breeze. We followed their instructions and made our way to the customs clearance dock.

"Clearing" customs meant talking to a video phone connection and providing all of our passport information. Very interesting indeed!

... be right next to the door? Well you will need help unhooking and setting up and getting that boat off of there won’t you. He was so kind, his wife then showed up, and I asked if there were any other sites closer to the water. I ended up with a sweet site right on the water. These people run a tight ship...But a little strange, $5 deposit for a key to the bathroom and showers, it was always locked. I think they drove by on the hour in the golf ...
