... car. We have lost a bit of time but surely now we can get off without another hitch. But as Monty Python once said "No-one expects the Galicia VESPA Owners Club". Just as we are about to move off five hundred scooters start pouring in to the square. There is nothing we can do but wait and enjoy the show. Porto all day then Vigo for night.

Early start in Espinho and a brisk walk to train station. I had paid site and checked out but they said I could leave motorhome safely on site until we got back from Porto.

The quality of the 'journey' may, in the end, be everything. If we are 'betrayed by destinations,' then the end may not be the point at all but how we get there. Here is another quote ...

Day 26- O Porrino to Arcade 14.5 miles

It looked like rain all morning, but we lucked out and didn't get wet. As a result, it was cool and a little breezy until the afternoon when the clouds lifted and the sun came out. We kept putting on and taking off our windbreakers. The little village where we are staying is on the edge of Ria de Vigo, an enormous river ...
