Miami Airport Marriott

The Nikki Beach Restaurant & Bungalow Resort, Koh Samui Thailand was the spot that we visited recently. There was immaculate service from all personal assistants at all times, they told us all the great spots to hang out and have dinner. The room, food and almost everything were nothing less than perfect. The nature was the friend of us. We simply could not ask anything better than that. These things meant the most to us and Nikki Beach will always be a part of our outing.

We are all set and ready to go. We just finished packing. My backpack (right) weights 33 lbs, Tine's backpack 22 lbs. AA has a 50 lbs Checked Bag limit per bag, so we are fine :O). Time to go to bed now ...

After a lot of research, we finally bought the airline tickets, decided the itinerary, and sent email to some hotels of the hotels. To keep track of this adventure we'll be using this site, thanks to Mitch for the idea and for sharing his trips experiences as well.

March 24th - Wednesday Winds E15-20kts Bay choppy with white caps Today we made the big move - across Biscayne Bay - from the Coral Reef YC to the Key Biscayne YC. It was blowing like whatever out of the east and the bay was covered with whitecaps with water coming over the port side. However, we did manage to exit the slip without any near-misses thanks to the expert Capn' aboard and headed out to the bay ...

After a short flight we landed in Miami around 3pm yesterday afternoon. We booked into a very expensive hostel, $55 for a night, and proceeded to spend half a weeks money in one evening. I thought America was cheap but Miami has it's own rules. Our night was spent eating burgers, dodging people skating on the sidewalk and drinking lots of very ...

... heavy one.

We got to the hotel 7pm Miami time but about Midnight England time so tiredness began to set in. We got room service to get us food as we couldn't be bothered to go out to eat, we then realised what a good idea it had been to get some us dollars at the airport.

Vertigo hit me as we were about 6 floors up.

We both crashed out ready to be woken for the next leg of our adventure...............
