... as we were heading to the pond – we were all excited = tick seen a real, live, wild, gator up pretty close (ha, if only we knew what lay ahead of us). Following a brief lesson on how to paddle and turn from our guide we splashed on off only to be confronted by 5M croc in the adjoining pond. Wow, he was big and scary, showing us his teeth and decided he'd had enough of sunning himself after 1 of our group was drifting/paddling ...

... 10 minutes, er, distance to run, er four phases of shops – oops better run!

Got there with a couple of minutes to spare and then the driver waited a further 10 minutes for stragglers. Oh, come on!

As a result, the driver felt justified in driving like Ayrton Senna all the way to Fort Lauderdale Airport, despite large amounts of rainwater cascading down from big angry clouds.

... seeming rude, because after all I was in a foreign country - that is not to say that I would have any problems jumping on the first flight back to BIM. I asked him if he knew where Terminal 4 was and if it was far away because my flight was leaving in 20 minutes. He simply replied that it was far and continued to look at the screen.
