... could sit & soak up the sun for just a little while!!







Thursday, November 27th was Thanksgiving in the US making it a long weekend so to be sure we had a campsite we booked until the 28th. We don't usually committ but we didn't want to end up in Walmart!! The next challenge we will have will be over Christmas, but as we've no idea where we will be we'll cross that bridge when we get there!

... an easy drive! It rained all the time and at times it was coming down so hard we had to slow way down to see the road! We saw more lightning and heard more thunder in a day than we've seen in years in SD!

When we arrived at the park, someone in a fancy RV was stuck in the mud on the median! They were going to need a truck to pull them out ...

... with a small wall or wrought iron fence and some even have benches. There are a few above ground mausoleums with stain glass windows, but the grave markers from the 1800's are the ones everyone comes to see. They are works of art, and in this setting, they look like time has stood still with soft Spanish moss veil draped over everything. It was not creepy at all but quite peaceful and serene. Today was another day to get up early – 7am. I got up, showered, dressed, then went to breakfast, ate then returned to the room. I then packed bags, used the WiFi, then took bags to coach. Then it was on the coach and we left. The first part of the day was to do with the Kennedy space center. We had time to explore the area and see what they had on offer.
