But, I've promised myself that I'll update this blog before we leave Naples...
Ola Kala: simply, OK (in Greek). No time for lots of flap.....we're on the go. The Vatican Museums await us (and we can hardly wait to do more walking!). Enjoy the pictures and we'll fill you in on the adventure next time I make the time to sit and gab.
We're still having a grand time!!!!!

Found a really cool red leather satchel to replace my old grey nylon one that has given me 9or10 years of service.
Florentine leather - so nice...
Also went to get 1 more tripe roll before leaving town and discovered they had beef too so tried one of them instead. Just as amazing as the tripe one!!!

... cash. I'm sure two of them were doing it as a tax dodge. And the third, I don't know. Maybe it was an illegal hostel place. Some places ask for your passport for ID, some don't. Some Internet Cafe's ask (they have to by law) and some don't. (This one I'm in now, run by Chinese, doesn't). Most rooms say non-smoking, but have ash trays. This Internet cafe is non-smoking, but the guy next to me is smoking. The guy running the ...
Naples, Campania, Italy mr_grumpy... island. Afterwards, we took the funicular to the top of the island and met up with Kelsey (little Bobbi's roommate) and Frannie from an SAS trip. We dined on more pizza and then I took off to head back to the ship because I had planned out a trip for myself the following day. I was off to Venice! SAS sincerely recommended that I not attend, especially since it was such a long distance from Naples. Two years earlier after backpacking with Evan through ...
Naples, Italy conman... very skillful driving, they got us down the narrow lane and to the farm. Although a small farm (just a few acres), the family-operated (for at least 4 generations) farm produces olives, olive oil, wine, cheese, lemons, and limoncello (liquor made from lemons). We got to sample a bit of everything, including the limoncello (very good, BTW). The cheeses were mozzarella and another kind which is made in little baskets. They showed ...
Naples, Italy dig_swashb... Azzuro (Blue Grotto). From outside, it looked like a little hole in the wall of a massive cliff. As soon as the man in the little row boat took us inside the water under us started glowing bright blue. The water was so warm I was tempted to jump in, but the voice of reason said she wouldn't help me back into the boat :(. We chilled in Capri for the rest of the day before making our way back to Naples and pack. The next day we woke ...
