          ... metro. All equivalent in some form to what I'm used to. Maybe I could have survived in antiquity? Residents buy access to these red and white bikes - racks all over and I saw a few trucks that are used to redistribute full racks. Come on Portland--being the best bike city in the U.S. is not an end in and of itself. And chill out about lane splitting, too. People move around so efficiently here--walk, bike, scooter, car, metro. No jerks, ...

          ... you order a meal it comes very quickly, every time. All the food has been delicious, Christina explained that it's the climate that the food here tastes great! Better than UK.

          ... went off,we weren't exactly sure whether it was 6.00 or 7.00 am. We'd also put our watches forward, so were reasonably confident we were sorted, but there was a little seed of doubt. (Di - I didn't realise that Steve had this doubt about the time - go figure!).

          ... the park itself. Dimi was very excited as this is a place she really felt an affinity to as she loves the architecture and the mosaic features throughout the park.           ... with all the thought behind every tiny little bit. My favorite side of the church was the nativity scene (which Gaudi finished) it depicts the life of Jesus of course but in such detail. The other side which is nearly completed is the passion side, which is very modern and of course depicts Jesus's death. Gaudis intention was to have future generations to interpret the remaining sides, he just left ideas and his research for the remaining church. ...
