4.6.2015 - 5.6.2015: We headed back to the waterfront area today for lunch, a walk into town and then out onto the Wharf for an ice cream and view of shipping in the area. Friday a drive out to Humpty Doo then back to Palmerston to restock before we move-on, on Tuesday.

... we felt that's enough. It's also a part of Great Barrier Reef (it says be one of the best reef in the world) so we had already seen that. So in Cairns we didn't do that much except recovering from the sailing, might sounds weird, but me on a boat drugged with seasick pills and 1.5h bush walk in Converse uphill and almost only stairs all way up trust me that need recovering. I was like a 90y old lady in my ...

... group was being wound up by the leader, we all got in the swimming hole and had a swim thinking there was a fresh water croc underneath us! Crazy? Courageous!? Either way we never saw it and I left dubious. Camping on a Cattle Ranch Mount Bundy Station, on the banks of the Adelaide River, was our camping ground for the night, which is also home to a lot of little wallabies. I heard some rustling around near my tent at night but as this wasn't like camping I had done on safari ...
