... we had a day at Crocoseum!! We were there not long after the gates opened so we could make the most of our day ticket! We started off with meeting the reptiles where we got to hold a snake, their collection of snakes and lizards was fairly impressive, maybe bigger than Australia Zoo! After that we wandered round into the large crocodile area, they had 4 mega male crocs, and then a smaller pair of crocs. You could pay to get in a 'cage of ...

The Wangi and Florence Falls were truly amazing! The Litchfield National Park has many places to visit but are on a tight schedule. Here also I went cliff diving and waterfall climbing! The spiritual place is ideal for relaxing and getting away from the hot temperature which is the hottest between 1 pm and 3 pm. Temperatures could rise above 40 degrees here! The difference between these falls and ...

... we obtained some info on where to visit. The roads mostly empty and we are nearing the end of the tourist season which has advantages but it is hot, up to 37C the thermometer says. The woodland is less dense than I expected, in places there are low hills with weathered granite type outcrops. I would describe it as beautiful but not pretty. Found a good campsite, Kakadu Lodge, with power to run the aircon, a ...

... back it was getting quite warm and we realised that we are no longer used to this. Had a swim to cool off before a late lunch and then went back to the pool/falls with chairs for another relaxing afternoon. Met a lovely French couple who are heading up to Darwin. Julien is a builder and will be looking for work so we will contact Rob Edwards and see if he has any suggestions and find out about getting 'white card'.

Next morning we walked up to ...
