... didn't get well rinsed turned into a gummy mess in my hair. wasn't working at all. I did get a refund though because I complained about it so much.
2) money belt around the waist. A real belt but with a tiny zipper that goes almost the entire length of the belt. It's ok. A good idea but needs a better execution. First off, I have lost mine! I'm sure it is in my daughters house somewhere but not where ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia carpefeline... nights at several of the campgrounds in the park – choosing only the options with showers. I stopped at the Window on the Wetlands which has exhibits and a panoramic view over the wetlands – I have never been to a wetlands area on this scale – don’t think you can compare this and Lincolnshire somehow – and it is amazing to think that in a few more weeks and it could all be under water. Also stopped at Mamakula which is a huge watering hole ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia spoonski... we now faced our greatest test - escaping the shopping centre carpark!!! We decided that the only way out was the way that we got in - through the entrance. Luckily we found some good Samaritans to redirect the oncoming traffic as we drove out and made our exit.

Next it was off to the Darwin water park which offers the facilities of a small "Wet & Wild" at no cost. Although Darwin has beaches with the box jellyfish, crocodiles and ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia rfjagger... was spent there.
Our grand daughters Tarryn & Ciara came and had their school holidays with us (2 weeks). It was a bit cramped inside the 5th wheeler and Ash actually slept in the back of the Land Rover ute. It was a delight for us to be able to take them to Kakadu, Litchfield National Parks, Aquascene fish feeding, various water parks, wave pool, Territory Wildlife Park, and Crocodylus Park. Although they felt the heat immensely they battled through.
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia cherylash... t rushing us to Palmie, he had too many opinions that he wanted to espouse plus the odd question that needed answering. I’m laughing and shaking my head now.

We finally got to Deb and Damo’s and the interrogation finished, The cabbie was happy as larry, he shook Greg’s hand vigorously and we were relieved to be finally going to bed. It was close to 4am!

The next day was a whirl of re-establishing ourselves back in the caravan park and ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia millersofoz... at Ubir Rock where we saw lots of aboriginal rock art and watched the sunset. After the sunset it was a race back to the bus before the mossies ate us all to death! Our camp tonight was really easy - we stayed at a permanent campsite so no pitching tents or sleeping on the floor and there were showers and toilets! After not too bad a nights sleep (kept awake for a little bit by Dingos howling!) we were up at 5.30am again so we could get back on the road towards Jim Jim ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia helsh... night and today, I'm spending exploring the city of Darwin. It's very hot and very beautiful, by the ocean that you can't swim in because of stingers and saltwater crocodiles swarming about. Tonight, it's off to Los Angeles for the second leg of my trip... more adventures surely to be had! I'll need a comfy bed after 33 hours of air travel...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia llessard2011... is often used at work to control the drunken/cracked out children that are my customers, and it involves a complex mix of seriousness, disappointment and anger. What this does is severely discourage anyone from sitting next to me and definitely from attempting a conversation with me. This was much easier to accomplish when I had my shitlocks and beard, and I looked like fat Jesus (Hangover) with male PMS. Now that I am clean cut and socially acceptable I have ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia gazalache... World at White Water World on the Gold Coast. It also has 4 full-sized waterslides, massive lagoon pool and interactive playground. The kids LOVED it and we loved it too 'cause we could just chill out and it is FREE! We also spent a couple of days down at the Wharf precinct. This is a very picturesque area, newly completed, and once again there are fantastic family facilities. We spent most of our time in the wave lagoon ($12 family pass ...
Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia hindmarsh... Mt Isa that they really improved and we were able to cruise comfortably at the limit. We were determined to put some kms behind us so we decided to get as far as we could and then decide a plan for the next day. Augathella was where we dropped and surprised ourselves by finding somewhere very nice to stay. No, I didn't know where it was either, until I saw the map. Think Eketahuna. We were off before light to try to get west of Mt Isa but a review of the map showed ...
