The third day of the march is called the seven hills walk. I have never actually managed to count the hills, partly because most of them only constitute gentle slopes and partly because there are about 9 gentle slopes and two minor uphills that could realistically be described as hills. It is a problem to know which qualify and which do not.

... yeah well they weren't making that up. Our Southern tans are fading fast.
We drove on in search of the Holland of my imagination and finally found it in Delft. Yes they have blue and white pottery but also charming canals and lovely historic buildings. We choose to remember this when we think of Holland and we are heading out today for Belgium (our shortest visit to any country I think....) ...
