Got to Hong Kong late on the 29th. Exhausted. Overwhelmed. Ride wasn't there. Borrowed cell phone. Beginning of encounters with wonderful people. Met Brittany and Sara. Big Buddha. Monastery. Seven Eleven. Victoria Peak. Wind. Cold. New Years. Crowded. Fireworks. Hotel. Bar Fights.
Halfway Honkers
... sort of Chicken Noodle soup, but it had a much fancier name, chicken just melted in your mouth and the noodles were obviously home made in some HK noodle shop, if such a place exists. Having skulled our drinks and slurped down the last of our noodles soup we headed for gate 43, to await the departure of Lufthansa flight LF731, only another 2 hrs before we're off again. Hong Kong Madness
... place, we both cant get over how rude the people are here and everything just seems so old - the buildings look like they need pulling down before they fall down! Unless we are missing something (James is certain we aren't) then neither of us are Hong Kong's biggest fans and we are both looking forward to our flight tomorrow evening to Cairns, where we can pick up our camper van on Friday and hopefully get some sunshine!!!
