    ... went over to one of the big malls to get some food when we got back and that was completely locked up. Thank goodness for Wal-Mart which was open! Things are back to normal this weekend.

    Some of the students aren’t back yet. Boy, some of these kids are well travelled. I have students who were in Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, and one who is due back Monday from Canada! I also have a girl who went to Brazil for Christmas and just came back on Friday. ...

    ... things I have bought. I had been looking for a dragon, since I was born in the year of the dragon, but hadn't found one I liked till we were at Taiwan Airport last night. I found rice bowls and a tea ceremony set all the same in blue with dragons on the side. We were also given tea and other gifts by many people, so these have added to my parcels and over full bags.     ... The cable car ride that went from one island of Ocean Park to the other was very popular too. It's a relaxing ride which gave us a great view of the park and it's surroundings.     We talk to Venus and Yvonne about our experiences in China and the sell by dates. Venus tells us that Chinese products have the date it was made put on them, so were we reading it wrong? I'm not so sure, sometimes I think there were two dates.
