... not to far away. The hostel had warned us that nobody goes out on a Monday, but with Rob's birthday we felt we must celebrate. They were right, it was dead and the only place open was a strip club/brothel. We thought why not, and joined another group of people. TAM flight from Cusco to Sao Paulo. Had a good chat with the guys sitting either side of me.
Put the watch forward two hours.
A couple of hours to kill at Sao Paulo airport. Eventually got an internet connection in the WiFi area but it was very slow and gave up in the end. Not impressed with the terminal again.
Departed South America at midnight on the TAM flight to London. I wonder when I'll be back next; maybe 2016? ...

... the family who ran it lived in the basement. It had a lovely feel to it and everything was easy. After meandering aimlessly around the supermarket not having a clue what we wanted to cook, but knew we couldn't stomach pasta again, i suggested we had our first bit of 'street food' as i had seen some stalls by the metro station.
