    ... We saw that Ramesh and Lalita were still in the terminal so wandered over to say goodnight and chatted for a bit before heading up the gangplank and to our cabin.

    5.30am wake up call organised as we have to be in the theatre for our Princess shore excursion by 7am. Re-packed what I needed to take for the shore excursion, clothes organised and then to bed.

    Stephen has agreed to help me out and drive us all to Oman today so i can renew my tourist visa without having to fly somewhere. He was picking us up from the buisness bay metro station stop down beside his. Me and ivar werent off to a good start as we were standing at the jebel ali side, we could of ended up going the wrong way!     ... bookshop and looked around but it was a very small shop and seemed to deal mostly in books for schoolkids. Thinking my mission had failed, I asked the girl behind the counter what I was after. She didn’t speak English but she realised I was after a novel and pointed me to their fiction section which was so small I missed it. And there was "Baptism of Fire", the book I was after in English!
