... in our area but all closed today. In town by the ricer is a lovely park and walkways. Wayne stayed back at the hostel so I walked along the river and soon saw a commotion and on getting closer saw a gay pride (LGTB) type procession in action. It was loud, colourful and the floats brightly decorated with people scantily dressed dancing to the salsa music. Everyone in the crowd also dancing it was brilliant to watch. I know the scene ...

... hilarious, I really hope we get to see them in the Galapagos Islands. I could have stayed and watched their peculiar movements for hours!

While neither of us are huge fans of zoos on an ethical level, we turned hypocrites and really enjoyed this zoo. ... jungle. It rained the whole time and everything was soggy, muddy and slippy, but it just made it fun. We where crossing little bridges built over the river and just hoping we where going the right way, and would find our way back to the starting point! We somehow ended up off the path at one point, and didn't really notice until we came to the river and could see the bridge we should have been crossing on. Instead of going back we decided to just walk across the rocks in the ...

... of mountains on either side, with some peaks reaching over 5000metres. We continued on for a while longer before stopping for a second desayuno, however when it arrived the meal was huge and was more like a large lunch than a breakfast. There were eggs, sausage, rice, beans, pork, minced beef, a banana and a large juice; it kept us fuelled for the rest of the day.

As we cycled through the agricultural lowlands, with cows and crops on both sides, ...
