We couldn't believe the room only cost us 26 as the place was of such a high standard. Where our guest house was positioned was in San Antonio, the bohemian part of town where all the bars, cafes and restaurants were. We were still having good conversation ...

... crossing was hassle free. We soon realised, as we drove through scenic rolling hills, that Colombia has an incredibly high police presence, with lots of police checkpoints along the roads - oh and they are all well armed of course!

We eventually arrived at our imaginatively named 'Colombian Hostel' which was pretty decent and in a nice part of town with a local park surrounded by restaurants - we headed to one of them, El Arbol (The Tree), for dinner, where ...

We've got bus tickets booked for tomorrow morning to San Agustin, which is supposed to be amazing and a bit off the beaten track. Not sure what the Internet situation is over the next few days so will update when we get there or back to civilisation next ...
