We spent four days in total in Berne. Not because there is a lot to do here but because we needed some time to rest and recuperate. One of the days was a complete washout because of rain which wasn't all bad as it gave us time for the rest we needed. Plus it gave us time to plan ahead and make future bookings.

One of the days we decided to head to Wengen which is at the base of another popular ski ...

It slowed down a little around lunch, the oldies had ...

... joke. We watched it twice and wanted to keep watching but needed to leave! We walked to the train station, across the road from our hotel, received some amazing help to buy tickets to travel to the chocolate factory. We couldn't believe how easy it was, travel to the train station bulle, get off there and take a train to broc fabrique and it would take about an hour. We were smiling, big smilies across our faces, snowy mountains out the window, and ...

... trail. A good 45 minutes later, I decided to get back to the main road and check a bus route to see if I was still on track. I was, but I also saw that by bus it was another 20 minutes to my destination in Itelswald! "What's another hour on foot." I said to myself, then I found a restaurant and ate a very salty ham pizza. The waitress told me the walk to Itelswald is quite the climb, so I took the bus. When I walked into my room I thought I was going to ...
