Very unusual, hip & different hotel, great location, quirky, nice rooms and lovely bedlinen. Next door to Raffles, so very handy for the Long Bar and a Singapore Sling. Fabulous top floor bar and infinity pool, if a little scary. Health conscious breakfasts which we enjoyed, but not so good if you are looking for a traditional British fry up.

Historical Traveler Reviews Naumi Hotel Singapore

          Functional chic

This is one hip hotel that actually works! Everything from the layout to designer furniture to plasma screen to microwave oven and home-sized refrigerator, Naumi is completely guest-oriented and nothing is too much of a hastle. There's even have a mini kitchen area complete with towelettes!

The rooftop pool is simply spectacular! Unlike the major hotels, this one only has 40 rooms so at any point in time, the pool can never be crowded and you feel as if you're lounging in a private pool overlooking the Marina city area. By the way, it is also part of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels network.

          A few misses:

          1. Asked for Wii (they provide Xbox and playstation too) at check-in, told it'll be delivered 2.5 hrs later as someone was using it. Called again in the evening, was told it's been colllected from my room and given to another guest in queue. Completely untrue. Receptionist then promised to deliver the system the next morning, again it didn't turn up.

          2. Breakfast variety can be better.

          3. Booked room to view NYE's fireworks, upon check-in was told rooftop pool booked for a private party, but hotel guests will be able to access the area minutes before 12. Around 11.45pm, staff at the pool entrance told guests the area's capacity was full and didn't allow anyone in. Those in front of us raised their voice, got upset and left. Our party remained at the door, and when the fireworks went off we were let in. Again I believe this could be due to lack of communication between staff and party organisers.

Great place to hangout, will be back if the price is right!

          Loved this place

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and would definitely stay there again. The rooms are beautiful (we had a deluxe suite and it was quite big with a really big bathroom and free standing bath). The pool area is to die for.

The staff were wonderful. I can't compliment the hotel enough really. Another thing to note is that the minibar was complimentary also - which I don't think it mentioned in the promotional blurbs anywhere so I thought I would mention it here.

          Fantastic Hotel

Stayed there for 5 nights as a treat for my partner. Found everything to be perfect from the email booking to the limo pickup at airport to check in.

The rooms are very sexy and well appointed in fact it is a shame to leave the room or the hotel as there is soo much to keep you occupied. The pool has excellent views over Raffles and the city beyond it was nice to sit there at night watching the sun go down and all the lights to come on. As its still a soft opening a few small niggles. It could do with a phone by the pool so you can order snacks and drinks instead of having to go back down to the room.

One bad experience was by a fellow quest who was having a party in the room next to us. The noise from his room kept us awake well until the early hours of the morning. 3 times I had to phone the duty manager who could not get them to be quiet. I found this very disturbing. The management needs to look into how it would handle this type of complaint in the future.

Nami Hotel Singapore: Best Personalised Service

I travel a lot on business and generally choose the larger hotel chains. However, during this trip, I chose to try the hotel Naumi which is a new boutique hotel in Singapore. It;s very close to Raffles in quiet section of town but very convenient.

First, the reservation process. You can make reservations on-line and call or e-mail. My first suprise- a real person with a real names answers your email and questions. immediately.

When you check in and your form is already completed and the people actually know that you coming . With 40 rooms, there are no check-in lines. Rooms are truly luxurious and clean and high tech. Free internet and the wireless works everywhere (as do the wireless phones).

Most impressive however of all, however, is the guest staff. They know you by name and are most friendly and professional yet.

Nami Hotel Singapore: ottimo servizio personalizzato
