Got on a Eurostar (fast train) in Rome for our trip to Switzerland. I was rather looking forward to it as I have never been on one before. We had seats allocated and the train was packed to capacity. For a journey of 580 Km to Milan with stops in Florence and Bologna we had 3 hours 15 minutes allocated, not bad when you think. Quick frustration. I like water. But I don't think anyone in Europe likes it. I have yet to have a glass of ice water. They don't serve it! If you ask for water they give you a cold bottled water no less than 2 Euro. I want a glass and I want ice... But no dice.
