No doubt our baptisms of fire and water yesterday were good for the soul, but so much more were our refreshing night's sleep and the events of today. Not that last night was without its reportable event: Syvia's nocturnal wandering culminated in her locking herself into the bathroom, unable to get out. Speaking of breathing, I attended a two-hour session of Classic Yoga and Meditation this evening at The Yoga Room. The instructor, Maureen, was lovely-- she created this congenial, relaxed environment that came as a culture shock... she and students in the class were even asking me about my cross-country trip. It's funny to be away from DC and realize that yoga doesn't have to be a competition ;)
