When we were close, near the Khao San Road, our driver just dropped us off on the side of the street as he hadn't got a clue where our hostel was. ... gets the better of us. So, we headed out to the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market this morning right after breakfast. It was pretty amazing - over 35 acres of vendors selling anything and everything you can possibly imagine, from fairly standard clothes, jewellery and decorative items, to water treatment systems, temple-sized statues, pets (and all their accessories) and works of art. ... rarely, have I ever been on a vacation where I actually felt relaxed. No matter where I ran in the hotel today though, I could escape the relaxation. Being able to sit outside with the birds, watching the stray cats nibble on the cantaloupe offerings on the Buddhist shrine, and the shade from all the trees, I just felt so at home. ... she was about 12 years old, and here she was, a beautiful glamorous young woman in a dreamy pink dress. Waiters and waitresses circulated continuously, offering trays of drinks, and the buffet was magnificent - every kind of food imaginable from sushi to sandwiches and special roast duck from The Four Seasons restaurant for which Prinn holds the franchise. ... are collected by Ben, Aum and Katie and driven the few blocks to 'No Idea'. A lucky parking place just outside is ours for the taking. 'No Idea' has the dark wood feel of an old colonial place and our table is upstairs, outside on the balcony. Perfect as the weather is just right for this spot.
