Once John got used to the idea that there wouldnt be a movie night as promised, we settled into the kombi and i think John fell asleep at 7pm. Sarina Beach is a very pretty beach and really should have a caravan park there - there is a magic site across the road from the beach that would make a fab caravan park - maybe in 10 years when we go back there will be one there.

We woke up in the morning and started to head for our next destination - 1770/Agnes Waters.

... here for the rest of the day. Saturday Today we did a 15km walk in the rainforest - we don't think many people do this walk because we are constantly getting attacked by cobwebs - yuck! We were then lucky enough to see a Platypus on the Broken River as well as Turtles. So awesome to see them in their natural habitat. That night we went back to the $9 campsite and chilled out.

... the Botanic Gardens before arriving at my Mum's friend sugar cane farm. It's now Tuesday morning and we are about to go for a walk and explore the farm. Had an awesome day Wed, got to rip around the sugar cane fields on an ATV! Love those things! Then we crack open some fresh macadamia nuts straight from the tree. Explored the city a bit and then had dinner at the Rugby League club. Now it's Thursday and we are heading for Aerlie Beach!
