Why Nothing Makes Me Happier

A travel blog entry by emilyfrederick on Oct 09, 2014

... travel writer Michael Kasum noted, “there is something different from being a tourist and being a world traveler.” Just as its etymology suggests, traveling is hard. That’s what makes it interesting. And that’s what makes it worthwhile.

And so again I find myself away from home, among new faces and new things. With a new money system, a new city, a new landscape. And, yet, the same purpose. Because it is only when I ...

I am pretty sure I said this on the way out, but they should ban feckin' wheeled cases as carry-on luggage! *humbug* The Newcastle flight was full, and most of the overheads ...

Rosslyn Kirk & York

We headed for Rosslyn this morning. It's a beautiful sunny morning and our spirits are high as we embark on yet another adventure!. Rosslyn Church is supposedly where the 'Holy Grail' and Templar Knights are buried. It's a beautiful old church. We had a look at the really old Kirk and listened to a fellow talking about the church. We then headed off for York. It's taken about 4 hours, we were hoping to find Yorkshire historic walls. Too tired to go looking - that'll be ...
