Travelled to my ancestral town of Bishop Auckland and found the public cemetery. Spent an hour looking for Teasdales or Wilkinsons but had no luck. As far as cemeteries go we found the burials were in no real order with plenty of space between the bodies. Bishop Auckland is a market town in demise. ... The road took us up over a range of hills (the summit was 2000ft) and the views out over the dales were absolutely spectacular.
