... farewell to the gang, and a bonus five days with Sharena in Swindon (where my next blog post will be posted). On Sunday we spent most of the day cooking a group roast. Katy taught me how to make roast beef and Yorkshire puddings. On the side there was homemade gravy, stuffing, carrots and parsnips. For dessert Katy made a delicious apple cake with custard.

... the sleepy fishing/holiday town of Sea Houses which was overlooked by Bamburgh Castle. Sea Houses: with a tiny population but with heaps of shops looks like a holiday village. Home to the UK's first ever sea rescue patrol there were many visitors and just as many scuba divers. There was a total of 6 charter boats doing puffin tours, seal trips and island hopping.
