... a KOA campground outside Needles. $28 and it had showers and toilets. Its evem hotter down here! It doesnt cool down at night like the other places we have went to, im dreading tomorrow morning. ... and I was surprised how many people were out & about at the beach for a weekday, it's obviously a very popular place. We had a walk out along the pier & around the main streets, then stopped by the international surf museum only to find it closed for renovations which was a real shame. We had a blowout on Toby the other day when our (plastic) pressure regulator on our water inlet hose burst, so we found a Walmart & bought a new brass one. Now we can hook up to our ...

Finally at the top, we hiked the 1/2 mile back to the car and found it safe and sound. A two hour drive back to Kingman and a stop at the first available food (McDonalds!) where we sat in silence inhaling french fries for a good 20 minutes. After that, onward to Bullhead City (AZ/NV border) where the temperature was 107 degrees.

After arriving into Las Vegas a few days ago I've been fighting the jet lag whilst staying in Bullhead City (about 2 hours South of Vegas). I appear to have brought the cold weather with me as the temperature in the desert isn't too warm, particularly at night.
