If you are reading this, and we warned you not to, here is why....

When we left the Grand Canyon we drove for a few hours that night and stayed in lovely Needles, California, right on the border of Arizona. So thats it, just where we slept for the night, before we headed up to Yosemite National Park.

We just wanted our map to be accurate, hence the reason for this post.

Till Yosemite, a real post you can read.

Nic and Jess
A taky tu mají skvělou zmrzlinu.

Bullhead City, Arizona, United States bengygi... of crystals...and checked out the mummified remains of a bobcat that had fallen in the canyon about 160 years ago and was pretty well preserved due to the ultra low humidity where bacteria can't exist. We also got to see a replica of a giant ( about 12ft tall) prehistoric Sloth that had fallen in and tried to scratch it's way out. The place was designated (along with all known caverns in the US) an ...

Colorado River, Arizona, United States ema77... to move more than 100 yards up the hill without stopping for 15 minutes. At that point, we made a decision. Andrew would go up the hill the rest of the way, get water, and get help. I would wait in shade, moving and resting little by little. I waited, feeling like I would throw up, wondering if I would die from heat stroke or dehydration. I waited in one shady spot until the shade was gone ...
Havasupai, Arizona, United States mlbalmeo... reaching the bottom, and the payoff was well worth the trip. Beautiful Mooney Falls crashes about 200 feet to the pool below it, which is a striking blue-green color. Smaller cliffs and dams have been formed out of the rock beneath the water, creating a shallow sheet of water that moves smoothly over jagged edges. We stopped to admire the falls for a moment, then continued on the trail, heading toward Beaver Falls.
Havasupai, Arizona, United States mlbalmeo... housed a lodge, café, school and church, and the people were generally friendly, though keeping to themselves. We stayed in the village only long enough to check in at the camping office, pay our fees, and get tags for our bags. While we were there, we witnessed the arrival of some "campers" via helicopter, making the trip that took us five hours in a mere five minutes. We tried not to resent them for how clean and comfortable they looked.

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States tbassplayer... snow the first night and torrential rains with mud flows the second night drove us to check into the Bun Boy Motel in Baker, CA for the last three nights. Yes, you read it right, the Bun Boy Motel! For $34.99 per night desperate travelers get a poorly lit room last remodeled in 1973. The poor lighting very prudently prevents guests from noticing the many creatures likely hiding in the blue shag carpeting, the cigarette burns on ...
