... partly because it was ummm, not sure I can explain it. It had mixed reviews... Max thought it was great and the guy was very talented, Trudy likened to an experience on speed and it has left Kate scarred and having reoccurring nightmares!!
We have also had an iridology reading! Sound painful - but for those not in the know it is a posh eye test. Basically everything wrong with Trudy and I is genetic, so its ...
... if you put your hand into the funnel, so it is possible, but unlikely to happen.
This was to be my last Big Thing for this Oz visit (maybe more next time?) and as such, Rosa presented me with a very special present: a badge that she had scrounged from an Ikea member of staff that said ‘being part of something BIG’. Thanks Rosie! Don’t know who is maddest - me for travelling around Australia looking for big things or the rest of you for egging me on to do it ...
... overhanging bottlebrush trees in bloom. (The trees were filled with Rainbow Lorikeets for the first few weeks we were there, which were beautiful to see, though they are quite noisy.) Behind our unit there was a shared BBQ area with a pool. Very nice.
Our location was walking distance from the bay, and a very short walk to the Lota train station, which we used almost daily to get around.

... we hit the town with Lauren, her boyfriend Mitch, her brother Jordan and some of her friends, we went out for dinner and a few cocktails, it was like we were 15 again, not much had changed. After having a few at the pub we went back to Laurens and continued the party till the early hours, it was one hell of a party!
The next day I could honestly not move my head from the pillow, it was pounding! At 1pm I eventually managed to generate ...
... see many of the birds. There is a walk through aviary stocked with hundreds of beautifully coloured birds (who constantly dive bomb you). They are trying to expand & become a World Zoo - they have already added the Asian section with Tigers, Red Pandas & the Elephants, all of which are endangered. Part of the admission fees directly help endangered species, so you can have an excellent day out & feel good about saving the Planet.

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia pacificocean... as well as lunch. I suspect it's the "I've paid for it so I'm dam well having it" syndrome. After 4 weeks we decide to skip lunch, the reason being that when I was reviewing some of the photos I'd taken I noticed that it looked like I was still wearing my lifebelt under my shirt, that's odd I thought it's either a lifebelt I forgot to remove or I've swallowed an inflatable polo mint. Minor panic over, investigation revealed it wasn't a lifebelt ...
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia easygeeze... tourist route, and stayed at a Big4 resort for our last camping night. They had an awesome pool, with slide, (doesn't matter in the rain), jumping pad thing, free sausage barbeque in the evening, and movie for the kids. Of course the power went out, so too, the "free " wireless internet! Rained all night and hard. We toured the "Big Pineapple" plantation this am. They have a train tour, and explain the planting and harvesting process, and tour through a rain ...
