... weekend. So it took a while, but we came up with a good alternative switching around things. Karen has booked bus rides, flights, hostels, tours. First time on this trip, that I am not doing this myself. What a relief for a moment. Then, a credit card puts a meaning to the ideas and off I went. No stop, I also asked for the koala santuary at the outskirts of Brisbane. Karen could book this as well and even with a discount. She recommended to do ...

... Crown Lager … They think it’s a premium lager, but it’s flavourless crud. XXXX Gold (Castlemaine Perkins) … a lovely full-flavoured lager. Ruby Tuesday Amber … an average, but tasty brown ale. Byron Bay Pale Lager … a refreshing quaff on a hot day.

The pub was advertising Canadian Club and Dry for only $10. 330ml. Basically it’s a premixed CC & ginger for way too much money, but funny to us Canucks.

Massive excitement this morning as Ponti came over for a catch up. Unbelievable that it's been 4 years since we've seen her... though as it is with good old friends, it felt like it had only been yesterday. Sadly Walter was chilling at home with his Daddy so the anticipation of meeting Ollie's Aussie playmate continues til Monday! We then spent a lovely afternoon/ eve catching up with all ...

... the plane, said he paid $65 for downtown parking in the city last week- a 'good enough' piece of advice, to keep us on Public transport. As I mentioned this leafy suburb has LOTS of birdlife - the large green parrots graze the fencelines as they cruise from treetop to treetop, including VERY large looking black crows, sitting right outside the laundry door in trees, making lots of loud noise. The streets are lined ...

After leaving Hervey Bay we headed even further south (much to our disgust, but our time is running out!!). We stayed with friends at Cooroy where Seth and Jett visited the local scout group and got invited to attend a scout camp being held at Underwater World at Mooloolaba the following weekend. Time was spent swanning around Noosa and boogy boarding in the surf, before heading down to Maroochydore. Noosa is a very nice spot, and a must revisit destination. ...
