Woke up today to the overwhelming humidity in our tent. I got up and meandered about for the morning doing laundry, showering and lazing by the pool. Once I got all my errands out of the way. Headed down to the beach, the heat was already unbelievably harsh. Needless to say I didn't spend a lot of time on the beach but instead was frolicking around in the water. The water was surprisingly warm and almost was too warm to cool you down to a comfortable temperature. After ...

... on our 5 hour trip :/ the whole arvo was a blur until we arrived at our campsite in Panama City beach. It was pretty hot and humid when we arrived so setting up camp wasn't exactly ideal, sweat dripping everywhere. Once the tents were up I was on cooking duty so we got to it. Everything got cleaned up and we spent the night sitting around drinking and chatting before people retreated to their ...

... Funday' party. The hostel itself is a destination, and we spent 5 nights there partying with a hostel full of people who were in San Juan del Sur for that reason only. Sunday Funday was a great day, it's basically a pool crawl in which 3 hostels around San Juan del Sur host the party from 2pm until the early hours of Monday morning, and you get shuttled between each hostel. After we recovered from Sunday Funday we took off for San Jose with Dave and Amy. At this point we ...

Panama City Beach has a very special place in my heart.. I've grown up down there spending summers, spring breaks, vacations, and holidays down there! I know this place like the back of my hand. I have seen the old PCB to them breaking down the amusement park and building pier park.. Tearing down the old nasty hotels and building high rise condominiums.. We will forever go to PCB!! The places to eat are Boatyard, Sharkys, Pineapple Willys, Shukums, Margaritaville and many many more!!.. ...
