While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. OK, so as they say, "The best laid plans..." and all that. (Yesterday we decided we would visit Stone Mountain then go downtown Atlanta to visit a couple of things, this morning we changed our minds again and thought we would visit Stone Mountain and then Jonesboro for a couple of GWTW places.) ... chat to the locals at a place called Lumbar City - this Country is amazing! We arrived in Darien around sun-downer time; it is just North of Brunswick. All campgrounds any closer to Brunswick were full this weekend because Elvis was in Town. Yes, we went to take a look and it was true - dozens of Elvis's all singing in the little parks and swivelling their hips - fantastic.

... to business class but the flight did not have a business class section so we wound up sitting in first class. The seats were sumptuous with adjustments for almost every part of the body. They even laid out almost flat for sleeping. Due to a mechanical problem the plane did not back away from the gate until 4 pm so we were lucky to have comfortable seats during the wait.
