Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...

It's a huge giant 'blob' that sticks out of no-where, not that far from Atlanta, Georgia. It was so great to be with our friends and to be in this glorious place. We had an excellent warm sunny day for our climb to the top of this ...

Sometimes it's nearly not worth it

Athens, GA to Stone Mountain, GA (and back)

We wanted to do something outdoors last weekend. Since Mom had plans in middle Georgia on Fathers' Day, it couldn't be anything too far away from home. Since Dad hadn't been to Stone Mountain before, that's where we went. Us and alot of other people. And it was hot. Hot and humid. Small Child started ...
