We had heard from other travellers it was quite hazy down there due to the bushfires started by lightening recently so we were thrilled when on our second day there the haze cleared and we had perfect conditions to see the brilliant blue of the Lake. It was so nice to be in a home with luxuries like a toilet, hot shower and a bed;) However, the visit wouldn't be void of adventure - upon arrival we found out we would be going on a rafting trip the next day!!!
